Young Adults Accomodation Project
Our vision at MBC is for a different way of being God’s people in the midst of
modern life in the city. As part of that vision, we support, foster and accomodate an intentional community of Young Adults who choose to live together, serve one another and those around us.
We’re committed to embedding ourselves in the neighbourhood of Murrumbeena and pursuing opportunities to have fun, connect with and serve those around us, in partnership with the local church.
We have regular meals together, share life, have fun, read the Bible, chat
about God and journey together through everyday life.
We are supported by the MBC Flats committee, and the wider church community. Preference is given (but not limited) to suitable Young Adults (18-30 y.o) and to those engaged in Higher Education.
Four flats consist of 2 independent (bed)rooms, each flat has a shared kitchen/bathroom and meals area (max of 8 residents).
Basic furnishings supplied: bed, desk, chairs, couch, heaters, fridge and most kitchen essentials.
2024/2025 rent is $845/month for tenants (or $195/week) - this includes water, gas and high-speed internet. Electricity charges are separate and as metered.
